A 7-Day Internship Interview Prep Playbook
Nam Vu••8 min read
Internship interviews usually assess learning agility and communication quality more than deep experience. That is why structured preparation outperforms memorized answers.
Days 1-2: decode the job description and identify the three most important competencies. Days 3-4: craft STAR stories for teamwork, problem solving, ownership, and growth.
Day 5: run mock interviews on camera to review delivery, body language, and pacing. Day 6: align CV and portfolio with the target role so each line can be discussed in detail.
Day 7: prepare thoughtful reverse questions and a pre-interview checklist for setup, documents, and timing. Candidates who ask strong questions are often remembered longer.
